Tuesdays BAGS card saw us land a brace of winners courtesy of Salacres Tiger and Salacres Oak. Tiger was our first winner and he was scoring for the 4th time in his last 8 appearances. Being a homebred dog it is always extra special to see them winning. Our second winner of the day was Salacres Oak. As previously mentioned on this blog Oak was disqualified in September last year but since coming back on the card he's not put a foot out of place and Tuesdays win was his 3rd in his last 5 appearances. He came with a strong late run to just about get up in the shadow of the line , beating our own Salacres Firefox into second place. The Salacres forecast paid £15.58. Though we weren't to have another winner on the card we were to enjoy another win. How's that you might ask. Well regular readers will be well aware of Salacres Tango's liking to finish a close second. Tango is one of my favourite dogs in the kennel , he's a rare visitor to the winners podium but with a dog like him there are always plenty of good betting opportunities , particularly the forecast market , Tuesdays forecast paid a very rewarding £30.78.
Winners have been difficult to come by lately and that was again the case on Friday as we ended the evening with just the one. Salacres Karma ran really well , he showed good back straight pace to put his A3 race to bed.
Saturday night we were again only lightly represented , in part due to the opens on the card. We had 6 runners out but left the track late in the night empty handed. We can only hope that the coming week brings about a change in fortune. The dogs are fit , well and waiting to take any chances headed their way.
Thanks for reading.
